Who we are

EcomUncle is operated from India and provides software for sellers on Indian marketplaces. For anything in this policy, write to hello@ecomuncle.com.

We are not affiliated with Meesho. Meesho is a trademark of its owner and is referred to here only to describe what our software reads.

The free tools store nothing

Every free tool, from the label cropper and calculators to the PDF and photo tools, runs completely in your browser. The files you drop into them are read in the tab and never transmitted anywhere. This is deliberate: a Meesho label carries your customer's name, phone number and full address, and that information has no business on our servers.

You can verify this. Open your browser's developer tools, go to the Network tab, and use any of the free tools or the dashboard. No upload request will appear.

What the dashboard keeps, and where

The dashboard is in open beta and has no accounts. When you upload Meesho reports, your browser keeps the following in its own storage (IndexedDB) on your device:

• The order and payout files you uploaded, exactly as Meesho gave them to you.
• Product costs you enter yourself.
• Which files you have uploaded, when, and whether you have removed them.

We cannot see any of it. It stays until you press "Clear everything" on the Uploaded files page or clear this site's data in your browser. It does not follow you to another browser or another phone.

Meesho payout reports do not contain customer names, addresses or phone numbers, so your buyers' personal information is not in them.

What we do not do

• We do not ask for or store your Meesho login details.
• We do not log into your Meesho account or act on your behalf there.
• We do not sell, rent or share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
• We do not use your business data to train machine learning models.
• We do not show advertising.

Who else is involved

Vercel hosts the website. Like any web host it sees the standard details of a page request, such as your IP address and browser type, in its server logs. It never sees the files you use in the tools or the dashboard, because those never leave your browser.

Nobody else. We will disclose data if legally required to, and we will tell you unless the law forbids it.

Cookies

We set no cookies today. The dashboard's saved files use browser storage, not cookies, and nothing on the site tracks you across other websites.

When accounts launch

Uncle Pro will add sign-in, so your numbers can follow you across devices. Before that happens we will update this policy and the date above. The plan, so you know now:

• We would store your email address and, if you sign in with Google, your name and profile picture.
• Reports you choose to sync would be stored on our database (Supabase), with access restricted per account at the database level.
• Payments would go through Razorpay. Card details go directly to Razorpay and never touch our servers.
• A sign-in cookie would keep you logged in. If you arrive through a creator's referral link, a cookie would remember who sent you, so they are credited if you subscribe.
• Closing your account would delete everything within thirty days.

Using the dashboard without an account will keep working the way it does today.

Your rights

• Ask what we hold about you. Today, that is nothing beyond what you send us by email.
• Correct anything wrong.
• Delete your data. For the dashboard, that is the Clear everything button.
• Object to any processing you disagree with.

Children

This is a tool for business sellers and is not intended for anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change anything meaningful we will update the date at the top. We will not quietly widen what we do with your data.
