The Meesho payout sheet, explained tab by tab
Five tabs, 43 columns and a formula row that ruins every total. A plain-English walkthrough of the file that decides what you actually get paid.

The payout sheet is the most important file Meesho gives you and the least explained. This is what is in it, tab by tab, and which parts matter.
Getting it
Meesho panel → Payments → Payment reports. Pick a month and download. You get a .xlsx named something like SP_ORDER_ADS_REFERRAL_PAYMENT_FILE_2026-07-01_2026-07-31.
Open it and you will see five tabs.
Tab 1. Disclaimer
One sentence, and it is worth reading:
The amounts provided here are estimated figures which are subject to change, upon determination of logistics costs based on allocation of order to authorised courier partner.
Meesho is telling you these numbers can move. That is why any honest tool calls this an estimated profit and loss rather than a final one.
Tab 2. Order Payments
The important one. One row per settled order, 43 columns wide.
Row 3 is not data. Row 1 is a category band, row 2 is the real header, and row 3 is a legend explaining Meesho's own formula. If you select the column and sum it, that row goes in too and every figure you calculate is wrong. Delete it before you touch anything.
The columns that actually matter:
| Column | What it means |
|---|---|
| Sub Order No | The key. Joins to your order report and to the shipping label. |
| Live Order Status | Delivered, Return, RTO. The only place a return is ever recorded. |
| Final Settlement Amount | What hit your bank for this order. Everything else explains it. |
| Total Sale Amount | Gross value including shipping and GST. |
| Total Sale Return Amount | Negative, and present on the same row when an order came back. |
| Return Shipping Charge | Usually the single largest deduction you will see. |
| Meesho Commission | Zero on many categories. Do not assume it is charged. |
| TCS / TDS | About 0.5% and 0.1%. Both claimable when you file. |
| Compensation / Claims | Money Meesho owes you for lost or damaged parcels. |
The trap in this tab
Fixed Fee (Incl. GST) appears twice, at two different column positions. So does the warehousing fee. If you build a formula by column name, or use a script that maps headers to values, the two collide and one of them silently vanishes.
Read by column position, not by name.
Returns are one row, not two
When an order is returned, Meesho does not give you a sale row and a separate refund row. It gives you one row carrying both legs:
Add the sale column across the whole sheet and you will double-count revenue that was never yours.
Tab 3. Ads Cost
Small tab, two traps.
There are two date columns. Deduction Duration is when the money was spent. Deduction Date is when Meesho took it, often weeks later and all on one day. Group by duration or your "daily spend" chart collapses into a single bar.
There are two cost columns. Ad Cost is before GST. Total Ads Cost includes it. The second one is what left your account, it is roughly 18% higher, and it is the number most dashboards ignore.
There is also a Campaign ID column, which almost every tool throws away. If you run more than one campaign, that column is how you find out which one is eating the budget.
Tab 4. Referral Payments
Bonuses from Meesho's seller referral scheme. Usually empty. When it is not, it is money in your favour that no dashboard we have tested displays anywhere.
Tab 5. Compensation and Recovery
Two directions. Compensation is Meesho paying you for a parcel lost or damaged in transit. Recovery is Meesho taking money back, usually a late-dispatch penalty.
Both are real cash movements and both are invisible in every tool we checked.
The thing nobody tells you about timing
The payout sheet is not a snapshot of a month's orders. It is a ledger of everything that settled during that month.
So a July file will contain orders placed in June. And an order delivered on 28 July may not appear until the August file. If you look at July alone and see orders missing, nothing is wrong, they simply have not settled yet.
July ka order August mein settle ho sakta hai. Dono mahine ki sheet daalo, tabhi poora hisaab banega.
This is also why an order can appear in two payout files. When that happens the later row supersedes the earlier one, it is a corrected version, not an additional payment. Add them together and you will double-count.
